Semantics – Screencast #1

I’ve gone and done it. My first foray into the world of screencasting. It took me since around September last year to set everything up (including a pretty major system upgrade). Another big challenge was to achieve a smooth and clear video to audio mix but with a mixture of cams and various mics I have honed it just right.

A fair bit of planning went into the actual content of the screencast too so please be gentle with your suggestions on how I can improve my ‘delivery’, I am but a sensitive soul! I know I am not a natural ‘to audience’ speaker but after a few run throughs I am actually quite pleased with the result. I might tweek my lighting arrangement for the next one as its a wee bit shadowy in the background, suggestions on a Front End Design topic are welcome.

I really hope it helps to educate clients and collegues about the why’s and wherefore’s surrounding Semantics and if you want to browse the slides I used in this screencast, you can.
